First looks are becoming a popular option among our couples here at The Little Vineyard.
How do they work? One half of the couple arrives first with the videographer and photographer, at a pre-determined spot on the property, their back is placed to where the other half will be arriving. When the other half arrives, they walk towards their partner, tap them on the shoulder (or do something funny like stick a finger in their ear- gross but funny!), they turn around and the couple have that “aisle moment” first look, just between the two of them, with the photographer and videographer capturing the intimate moment.
After you share a precious moment with your beloved other half, your bridal party and immediate family joins you to get your photos. We then place the two of you out of sight, so your guests can arrive and take their spot at the ceremony. We get everyone into position with the help of your celebrant and the ceremony commences. Your guests wont even know that you have already done all your photos. Sneaky, we know!
By having a first look and doing your photos before the ceremony, you have the luxury of enjoying every moment with your guests after the ceremony. This is the perfect option for couples who are extremely anxious about the day, they want to share the first time they see each other in a private intimate setting or if they want to get your photos completed before their ceremony.
We ensure every couple that comes to the Little Vineyard, they get the wedding they dream of. Whether it be a first look, a traditional aisle moment, arriving and walking down the aisle together, having groomsmen as flower girls, arriving on a horse, we have seen and done it all before, so please make sure you have a discussion with your coordinator to make sure you get exactly what you want.
