Quick tips on how to have your perfect day without breaking the bank

Here at The Little Vineyard we understand that having your dream day comes with a price tag. In a world where the cost of living is getting higher and higher, it is getting harder and harder to make your dream wedding happen without breaking the bank. We are pleased to tell you here at The Little Vineyard, we can help you with that! Not only do we offer very generous packages without jeopardising the quality, but we have a few nifty tricks for you below to have the perfect day without breaking the bank

1 – Flowers

Flowers are a must for a lot of people but sometimes they can be one of the most expensive parts! Always remember to choose seasonal and local. Don’t fall in love with a flower that has to come from South Africa and is not in season for your wedding, this is going to set you back a small fortune. Choose flowers that are locally grown and sourced. Better for your bank and the environment.

2 – Choose potted plants instead of fresh flowers for your centre piece’s

Potted plants have a dual use – they work for decorations and they also work as a wedding favour. Go to your local plant wholesaler and select some potted plants to go on your tables. They will look great and will be much better for your hip pocket.

3 – Have a small intimate wedding

Gone are the days where every Tom, Dick and Harry get an invite to the wedding. Keep your guest list small and invite the people who matter the most to you. Say no to plus ones and no to people you have never met. Keep it close and personal.

4 – Don’t get lost in all the details

Weddings can be very overwhelming. There will be so many ideas that pop into your head and your Pinterest board will become overcrowded with an endless budget wedding (we all have our dream Pinterest wedding). Keep it simple applies when it comes to a wedding. Best way to not blow the budget is stick to the basics. Spend the money on the things that are important to you and forget the rest.
